Last few weeks, I stumbled across this game site at smileygamer.com and found a very interesting flash game - FlashElement TD. A Tower defense game designed by David Scott. A Flash based where inspiration is based on the “Element TD” map created for the RTS game Warcraft III. Launched in 2007 and since then it has growth popularity and can be found over many game sites.

I have been playing quite a while and become quite addicted to this game. Why this game so addictive? Well I can say that is the gameplay elements.The aim of the game is to kill all the creatures without letting any of them to get away. Thus player has to place all kinds of towers on the map and upgrading them whenever is possible. There are many challenges in every level and player has to be alert and strategicly place the towers. Lots of interactivity involved, such as to upgrade tower, to unlocked tower. By unlocking you will need 1wood (every 7 levels you get 1 wood for an upgrade). Players can also buy interest rate with 1 wood to gain more point.To increase the life by 1 with every 40 gold. To increase fire and power by selling off your gold. Player can also earn your interest in the bank and so on. The game is getting very fast and tough with creatures swaming out the maze, this is when game go up to 15 levels up.
Normally i will buy the interest rate with first few upgrade and buy fire towers and rockets, these two are the most power attacking defenses. Try not to waste money on water towers which only slow down on enemy with low fire, not very effective at all. When comes to fast flying creatures, I will buy Arrow towers, quite effective to hit fast flying creatures and can upgraded by increasing the power. I also often used Cannon towers, they are good in attacking stubborn creatures with slow fire but good demage. In order to prevent life from running out. Players have to keep as many gold in bank and buy life as needed. Once 20 lifes are finished, the game is over. Here is my score:
What i can say is good ideas are the heart of soul of any good game, strategic planning of games and interactively are something cannot be compromised. Even without a complicated 3d environment, graphics interface, a simple flash based game with presentable graphic interface , sound and only one top angle view can also engage players emotionally. That is the essense of gameplay - FlashElement TD- one of my favourite game

What is it like to start to play games after so many years. Well, i can say it was fun. So i started with those simple game first-- “The Burger Island 1” from the internet an hour free trial version. A game that is easy to play and let you have a kick start. This is a very fast food themed game. It is a click and stacking game. It has three levels. The game has put very good details in comic graphics- pop art interface design. Look and feel is good. However it is considered a very small game that does not have full features in term of features and levels.
It is just a simple click and play game that is easy to play without much thought, kind of killing time when you are waiting for someone or in between lunch break that will keep you awake after a full meal. It gets really repetitive after a while and background music is same throughout get you real tired.
The more you play the game the more you can memorize the recipes.More for young adults and kids to learn to stack according to the colour on top bar. It starts off with meat, ketchup, burger in sequence and then to fries, drinks and shakes. The only surprise you get is you can buy new recipes after you managed to finished the next level. No strategy or thinking involved, the only challenges is as it gets faster and faster , it is getting hard to follow and keep your mouse clicking nonstop. This is more like a flash game for casual gamer not really fantastic, still enjoyable game that let you kill your time. I managed to become a burger graduate after an hour play.

If you like to join the fight club, there is a game that you can vent your anger with. The exciting and finest Fighting Games that I love is Virtua Fighter.
Back in days, Virtua Fighter 2 was one of my favourite games I played at arcade. It was the best fighter I had ever played with impressive polygon 3d graphics accompanied with nice background sound,environment and character without compromise the speed and action.......
Personally I find the game is extremely easily to play with 3 buttons and a arcade control stick. It comes with dozens of different moves and combination, including throws, counters, pursuit attacks, parries, and reversals. It consists of a best-of-three-rounds game, where you win either by beating with kicks and puching and throwing your opponent out of the ring. It can player with one player or 2 player. However it will still take sometimes to master well the move of each individual character with buttons and stick in order to defeat the opponent.
Virtua Fighter 2 comes with 10 characters. Pei is one of the great female kungfu master that i always play. i like her fighting style and her move. Mastering her style is not a simple task too cos i have not finished the whole match till now.
Weeks ago, I got to play with the newer version Virtua Fighter 5 with PS3. The mode selection has not changed much as compare to virtual Figher 2. However it has improved a lot of the physical appearance in graphics, characters and landscape. From 10 fighters it has increased to 17 fighters.You can customize their characters with data profiles to characters, which lets you track your win or loss percentage and also it gives you gold players that can used to purchase four uniquely patterned costumes to be placed onto each fighter’s various body parts. It has come with more unique character moves and fighting styles however it still can improve in the interactivity to the gamers by giving more variations of costumes with the existing 4 types. Music is good on board but it has become repetitive throughout the scene. It would be awesome that in future there will be more sound effects at different stages.
Overall Virtua Fighter 5 is a challanging game to play. It has a big jump of improvement of Virtua Fighter 2 in term of graphics and fighting move. I would strongly recommend it as one of the exciting fighting games of all time.
