Get me The Glass-- more milk please?

For the pass few blogs, my reviews are more towards flash based 2d simple
games. On this fifh blog I would like to recommend this impressive Flash 3D graphics animation game-- Get The Glass.

I found it quite sometime ago through surfing and I love it so much especially the graphics. Thus i put this to my last assignment and hope everything ends with a beautiful ending.

Get The Glass, the latest Got Milk? online campaign created by North Kingdom in 2007 by a Swedish agency. They come out with this stylish online game that is load of fun and addicting. The game based on one of the most classic board games, starring the Adahi family. A game begins by setting off Adahi family through a van by throwing a Dice. The mission of the game is to help the milk-deprived Adachi family setting to Fort Fridge and get the glass.

Throwing off a dice can be so pretty interesting to look at, as the dice throw, roll and stop. The van move to the number of spaces and lands to either
Fortune card (move forward)
Misfortune card (move backward)
or Master Mind card (puzzle to move)

Besides asethically intrigued graphics, the game has many challenges and interactivity in order to Get The Glass

Challenges:
1. word search - rivia questions, fill in the missing letters of the word,

2. mini-game challenges that range from arcade to puzzle
Interactivity
1. The Wheel of fortune is very interesting. If you are lucky, you get make the Adachis escape
2. Arrrange the flowers on the characters head exactly as shown on the portrait. There is time limit and 3 turns

3. The hot pursuit was easy, try holding down the mouse button to move but not easy to get to the finishing line.

Helpful Hints:
The final lock combination is found on the top right. You’ve been collecting the numbers in each of the mini-games.

Code to fort bridge is: 6, 97, 31, 52, 8

Phrase at end of game is, “Can I please get the glass.”

Throughout the game you are followed by the police car along with the encounter test on words, tricky puzzle and interactivity on all about milk campaign and who capture you if you fail the test and take you off to Milkatraz prison.

The game is not an easy game, it is not easy to Get the Glass. I have been in and out the prisons for many times but I am still not manage to get the glass. and it take a while to load the front end with my broadband. I must say the animations are just brilliant and navigation is interesting. It is still worth to the time to load and play . Brilliant aesthetics and the effectiveness of the marketing campaign, make it a promising game design company that i will look forward to their incoming projects:

click, play, relax -- all i want is just to play- Music catch 2

I am not a hard core gamer, i only play games occasionally so it is quite difficult for me to blog on some complicated games. I decided to look up for highest ranked popular game on the site. Then i come across this simple and soothing flash game, it completely threw me off- Music Catch 2.

A very simple game, you control a ball with your cursor. The more shapes you collect, the more points you get.Yellow shapes make you grow in size and multiply your points. Red shapes cause you to lose some of multiplier. Purple shape vacuum up all the good shape. A simple game with simple look. All shape comes in bright neon colour onto a dark background. Visually it is colourful yet pleasing to look at. Especially when you collected the purple shape, all the shape zoom into one direction and slowly faded away. Asthetically it is very beautiful to look at. As you go further you will able to unlock new shapes, patterns and even the ability to play your own music.

The game purposely make it simple, easy to control and anybody can just pick up and play. However the game play is still engaging. It comes with rewards for grabbing yellow shapes, and power up by collecting purple shapes. The risk is to avoid red obstacles as it will reduce the multiplier. The score is also the incentive to keep the player to continue playing the game.

Last but not least, the sound track that has added a final touch to the game. Player will just flowed with the beautiful piano music, distress by the falling shape. Written by Isaac Shepard, from his solo-piano album called "Deep Joy" is a mastermind the bring out the intricate touch and soul to the game of Music Catch 2.

In short Music Catch 2 is flavoured by casual gamer. It is easy to play without difficult elements. A simple and relaxing game to play in between waiting time.. However if you are “hardcore” gamer, this is not the game for you as the difficult level is too easy to achieve and there is not much things that player can look forward to.
